About Gerry

I was born in Hertfordshire and introduced to cameras and lenses at a very early age due to my father sharing the same interest in photography.

I took my first ever photograph, under my father's careful guidance, when I was only eight years old, using his much treasured Kodak 'Box Brownie' which I still keep in working order to this day.

Since those early years, I have had many cameras pass through my hands, starting at the age of fifteen, when my father bought me my first 35mm SLR camera after I showed an increasing interest in photography. These days I work with a modest Canon 35mm digital system comprising of two camera bodies and a selection of lenses.

My passion is ultimately in landscape photography and love being outside, up against the elements, capturing the wonderful effects that the seasons bring to the landscape around us and the fact that what we see can alter due to changes in light.

Finally, I would like to thank you for taking the time to view my galleries of images and hope you get as much pleasure out of looking at them as I did taking them.

Professional quality prints of any of the images seen here are available for purchase. If you would like to order a professional quality print please email me with your requirements.
