About Gerry
Gerry Weatherhead was born in Hertfordshire and introduced to photography at a very early age due to his father sharing the same interest of photography. He took his first ever photograph when he was only eight years old, under his father's careful guidance and with his much treasured Kodak 'Box Brownie', which Gerry still keeps in working order to this day. Since those early years, Gerry has had many cameras pass through his hands and at the age of fifteen and due to his increasing interest in photography, his father bought him his first 35mm SLR. Gerry has also left his fingerprints on many cameras, including Praktica, Olympus, Nikon, Bronica and a Mamiya. Gerry now works with a modest Canon 35mm digital system comprising two camera bodies and a selection of lenses. Gerry's photographic passion is mainly in landscapes. and loves being outside in the open, up against the elements capturing the wonderful effects that the seasons bring to the landscape around us. Finally, Gerry would like to thank you for taking the time to view his galleries of images and hope you get as much pleasure out of looking at them as he did taking them. Professional quality prints of any of the images seen here are available for purchase. If you would like to order a professional quality print please email me with your requirements. |
